Asounding: License & Pricing
Note: this project is discontinued and licenses are no longer available.
Asounding is available for commercial licensing for iPhone OS applications under a per-title or per-developer license. Asounding is also available free of charge for open source projects under the GNU General Public Licence version 3 or later.
Highlights
- Application License
- An application license gives you the right to use Asounding in one application published on Apple’s App Store.
- Use of Asounding must be acknowledged in the application’s credits or documentation.
- Costs a one-time fee of $44 in Canadian money.
- Duo License
- A Duo license gives you the right to use Asounding for a pair of applications on Apple’s App Store.
- One of the two applications in the pair (the companion app) must be available for free on the App Store.
- Use of Asounding must be acknowledged in both applications’ credits or documentation.
- Costs a one-time fee of $54 in Canadian money.
- Publisher License
- A publisher license gives you the right to use Asounding for all applications published by the same publisher on Apple’s App Store.
- Use of Asounding must be acknowledged in both applications’ credits or documentation.
- Costs a one-time fee of $176 (same price as four application licenses) in Canadian money.
- GNU General Public Licence
- The GPL gives you the right to use Asounding in any software distributed under the GPL license version 3 or later. An exception has been added to allow distribution on the App Store (see the exact terms in the source files).
- Use of Asounding must be acknowledged in the application’s credits or documentation.
- Costs nothing.
