Counterparts Lite: FAQ

Answers to frequently asked questions about Counterparts Lite. If your question is not answered here or you experience problems, get in touch .

How to share the app with my translators?

You can purchase a multi-user license and use it in two ways:

  1. If you’re responsible for the Macs your users are working one, you can install the license yourself on all these computers, up to the number of users specified on the license.

  2. If your users have their own Macs, you can lend a licence to each of them by visiting the collaborators page. Attributing them a license this way will automatically send an email to this user. The generated license code is valid for one year. At the end of the term, the lease can be either renewed or attributed to someone else.

A 5-user license includes one license for yourself plus 4 licenses for your collaborators.

Note: multi-user licenses are not available on the Mac App Store. You can purchase them form the michelf.ca Store.

Where can I find Counterparts not-Lite?

Counterparts is not available yet.

Counterparts is a bigger project that takes more time to design and build than anticipated. The string table editor created for Counterparts has been ready for some time however, and this is what I’m making available as Counterparts Lite.
