Invalid Password

Again, I entered the wrong password! But how many times have I exchanged a password with another?

If someone had bad intentions he could collect all my wrong passwords, associate them with me and then access my confidential data somewhere else. If a person like that existed I would be forced to change my password often so that it's password database is unusable as quickly as possible.

But someone like this doesn't exist. Is it?

Boom boom!

How do you connect to the internet? If you thought your old 28,000 bps modem was slow, what do you thing of the 2 bits per second you can get with bongo drums?

Software Patents

It seems that the european parliament decided to take a soften touch on software patents. I'm happy to see that resistance against those transnational lobbies seems to work.

A little futuristic look

Lately you may have heard about Virginia Tech's new supercomputer. It is built of a network of the impressive amount of 1100 Power Macs G5. Some photographies have been published. Surprisingly enough, I find the second picture to look much like what we see science fiction movies. External design of a computer does not only make it look good on the desk, but on the shelf too!
